You think you've seen bad movies, you know, The Perfect Storm, Boys on the Side and, dear God, A Few Good Men, but then you find yourself once again lying in your motel room - emotionally traumatised at the end of a day filled with people saying cruel things like "potentiality", "we're carrying a power agenda now", and "how do we build credibility so we can get traction" - and then you turn on the television for some mild entertainment and soothing inanity.
Instead, in your mentally weakened state, you find yourself watching this bilge.
I always thought Rent was supposed to be some kind of modern masterpiece. If by modern you mean contemporary, then that I understand. It's the masterpiece bit that passes me by. But then, I never really "got" a shark preserved in formaldehyde as "art", either.

I cannot believe you just put boys on the side and a few good men in the same category. Devastating.
I'm sorry. Next time I'll warn my more sensitive readers.
