We finally cracked and bought a digital camera. It cost a bomb but Grumpy needs it for his Line of Work and I just needed it because it transfixed me so with all its gadgets and electrickery.
It's wizard!
But, you know, after years and years of certain people getting tetchy about how much fillum I was recklessly using up taking snap shots hither and thither I didn't expect to start clicking away and get this admonishment:
"At that rate the battery isn't going to last very long, is it?"
