An Ecstasy of Fumbling

An email was just sent round the office. In signing off, the author wished everyone a winderful day.

As if I don't suffer enough horror and degradation in my working life.

Snort. (And I thought maldicion was an adjective.)

Look, it could mean anything; I am jsut going to use it arbitrarily in any gap that it looks like it might fit (as I strongly suspect HBB and her consort have been doing)

HB has a consort?! How could I not know this? Does her husband know? Hang on. Is a consort a, you know, a thingy, a not-husband ... thingy? Or is it a husband you don't own up to having?

This word... I do not think it means what I think it means. (Consort, that is, not maldicion. Maldicion is a made up word.)
