Who would have thought? Grumpy reads (blogs). Ho ho! Anyway, he has taken exception to this entry I made over at Nick's site. He is outraged - outraged - that I referred to pelicans as Spruce Gooses, a likeness he once commented upon many years ago as we stood shivering on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.
Accordingly, this blog would like to:
1. Unreservedly apologise to Grumpy for appropriating his intellectual property without citing the source; and
2. Acknowledge the right of Grumpy to be identified as the author of the analogy pelican = Spruce Goose.
