Time to Reflect

So, tattoos. Would all the dark bit on a tattoo get sunburnt? Also, would it feel hotter in the sun? And if it could get burnt and it did feel hotter that would be, like, totally uncomfortable - you know, when you had a sunburn and went out into the sun with your sunburnt tattoo bit.

I just thought I'd mention it.

How bizarre. I just had a similar thought about tattoos in the sun and consulted with the most (beautifully) tattooed person I know.

Anyway, according to her, if you want to keep your tattoos looking their best (and you do), you use a high SPF sunblock. The UV rays fade the ink. Apparently that's why you see old guys with greenish-blue tattoos -- it's what happens to black ink exposed to the sun.
