End of Fashion

QEII lives in Melbourne now, but she comes back to Perth fairly frequently. Last week she was over and she finally summoned up the courage to tell her parents, Ibu and the Fat Boy, that she is gay. She'd been quite nervous about this; worried that their Oirishness and Catholicism might make them less than receptive to the news.

As it turns out, they were delighted. The cosmopolitan pair thought that it would be quite trendy to have a gay daughter, and Ibu was heading straight down to her Soroptomist club to spread the news. Ibu likes nothing more than having one up on the sisterhood and, really, what better way to do it.

That's great news...I think lesbians are fantastic!!

Also, sorry to be so late but I have been away and only just discovered the whole haze/grumpy situation. All the very best wishes for the both of you that you are able to work through this time.

Spud, I suspect your love of lesbians is not as altruistic as it could be.

As for me and Grumpy, if he comes over here again and eats in front of me, things are going to end very, very badly.

Haha, you said "Soroptimists".

I really thought that was a made up word when we got a letter from some of them at work. They're not lady masons are they?
