Layover Over

Last night during the news a story aired about Casey Stoner's second Moto GP win. Grumpy nearly coughed his roast potatoes all over the crocheted blanket covering his knees. He had spied the sponsor's logo in the background and was keen for me to see it also. Once I'd spotted it, I had to agree it did look a little...ahem...untoward.

What Grumpy didn't notice, and which I feel adds a certain flavour to the whole scenario, is that this GP was held in Assen.

Oh my word. Is that an umlaut? And is "umlaut" now a term for a certain, er, position?

My roast potatoes came out my nose, for what it's worth.

Susan, I think umlaut is...oh, nevermind.

Tonelawc, always a pleasure to know you're still around and reading the blog.

Hey, welcome back!

We first encountered A-style in Rome - we were sitting in the Campo de Fiori enjoying some afternoon beers and a cute, tiny electronic bus motored past - with the huge A-Style logo plastered over the back - we had roughly the same reaction as Grumpy. And then began the quest to capture the tiny A-Style bus on film (err memory card).

Sadly, the logo does not appear to be unintentional. They have lame t-shirts, which among other things, say "boss + secretary = A-style" (with icons above each word). It kind of lost it's lustre after that.

I figured it was deliberate but I still hoped against hope. How tasteful.
