I'm proud to say that the laundromat on Stirling Highway in Mosman Park has a sign in its window advertising the fact that, in addition to the clothes washing & drying self-service facility, beverages may also be purchased within:

Cool drinks $1.

Cool drinks! For a buck!

Ah, honesty in advertising is so rare that it's funny. (Anywhere else would have said "ice cold" wouldn't they?)

Sometimes reading your posts makes me feel about eight years old, overhearing the adults and trying to work out the dirty bits.

Mostly I understand... but now where does the "buttercup" reference come from?
