Session 1 stresses that sustainability assessments will increasingly require employees to think in terms of integrating and applying two relatively distinct knowledge bases: an understanding of our formal decision-making processes based on precedent alongside an understanding of less formal participatory process of consultation and negotiation that parties voluntarily enter into.
