Premature

The girl I am going to mentor just rang to say she's too sick to see me today. I was chatting to her mum, who's a part-time teacher and is enjoying the last few days of the school holidays. As the dark clouds had gathered and the rain came pelting down earlier this morning, she decided to use the spare time she had to soak in a bath for a while.

"Oooh, lovely," I said. "I don't have a bath at my place. I've sometimes thought I should get a plastic chair and drag it into the shower and just sit in it while the water flows."

"Isn't that something old people do?"

Well, I've always thought I was wise beyond my years. Or just wet behind the ears?

Without a word of a lie, I love my plastic chair in the shower time. I would just leave one in there but the little red haired girl thinks it is too weird and refuses to let me do it.

All the fun of showering! None of the worry of standing!

Also note that word ver is 'impas'. How appropriate.

That is spookily appropriate, Spud. Something tells me that you, however, are NOT.
