Leggus Jellyus

k. decided that "our" morning walks on the beach were starting to look less like exercise and more like a pleasant morning stroll and that it was time to get things back on the move. So we agreed to meet at a flight of stairs up on the ridge and walk up and down them for half an hour.

We did that for the first time this morning.

I've decided, now that I'm home, that I need to just sit down and get some blogging done. If I don't sit down, my legs won't know what to do.

On the upside, while we were climbing, I felt there was something not quite right, something, in fact, wrong with the situation. Then it dawned on me.

"Hey, check it out," I said to k. "I'm, like, totally dominating the conversation."

k. managed to get her breath back enough to point out that the very top of the stairs was not the best place for me to be a smart-arse.

*I assume that's a form of the royal "we" given her somewhat patchy record on showing up.

Haze, you're not the only one who needed to sit down when you got home.
