So I've just been reading about Scene kids. Don't confuse them with being emo because they're so, like, not?
I don't know why Scene gets a capital and emo doesn't. Listen, I don't make the rules.
Whereas an emo tends to favour dark hair and a side-swept fringe, it seems these Scene kidsters are into Madonna-style clothes, circa 1983 to wit: "tiaras to ripped stockings, leopard print and 1980s band T-shirts. Thick eyeliner and elaborately coloured, back-teased hair are mandatory." (Sydney Morning Herald)
What I want to know is, what's wrong with chucking on a t-shirt and a pair of jeans? If it's alright by Dave Dundas, it's alright by me.

Eurgh, so now there's another sub-type of angsty, hard-done-by-but-not-really teen that I'm supposed to be able to identify and classify? I'm too old for this.
k, as usual, I have NO IDEA what you're on about.
lonie-p, I just wouldn't bother. By the time you've got it all figured out, the kidz will have moved on.
