k. and toddler t. came over for dinner on Tuesday night. We had a lovely evening, the best part of which was k. telling me she and t. and d. are going to be living back in Perth for 6 months as of November. Also good was the fact that k. didn't start any disputes involving Harry Chapin, for which we can all be grateful. t. is a most delightful and delightfully sociable child. He spent a lot of the evening jumping on to me and blowing raspberries on my face. This is to be expected with parents as gregarious as his. Though, in their defence, neither k. nor d. has ever attempted to blow raspberries on any portion of my body.
t. is also very well behaved. When he did do something just a bit naughty k. warned him off thusly: "Don't do that, t., or hazel will blog about it."

Yeah, my friends use that as a threat to themselves. They do stupid things and then say, "Don't put that on the blog!" I just grin, because until they say that sort of thing, I usually haven't even thought about it.
You do realise t's blogability comes from his mother's side...
Gina, unfortunately for my friends - dwindling in number - I have already thought of it.
d., let me just say this: "Nice flowers. Any special occasion?"
Just because...
Now she wants to buy a new house, give em an inch and they take a mile
Wish I could be there to witness your reunion:
"Yet who would have thought the old man to have had so much blood in him?"
