Well, when is some enterprising Australian card company going to come up with a line of cards to commemorate ANZAC Day?

I don't know. Let some expert think of the appropriate wordage.
Or is it Anzac Day these days, as appears so frequently on calendars and titles of TV series, mini?
I'm confused. I still like to write ANZAC. It seems more noble than reducing it to just another word. Maldicion is just a word. ANZAC is supposed to mean something.

Yeah, well I don't believe you. I think you made it up. I don't know what it means. I've only ever seen it written on your blog (and possibly Crustacean's, tho don't quote me).
I think I looked it up once and couldn't find it.

No disrespect intended. Indeed, I was down at Galati's in Freo, sitting in the car with the kids while Bill was inside buying arancinis, when the radio dragged out "The Band Played Waltzing Matilda" and I had to keep swallowing and breathing through my mouth so I wouldn't start (openly) blubbering and the kids wouldn't think I'd lost it completely.
