Embarrassingly Enough

Songs that always make me cry:

Utah Carol by Marty Robbins
Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris
Jessie by Paw
Spinal Meningitis by Ween

When I'm feeling maudlin I just line these up on the CD player and bawl. Though it would add something to the whole self-indulgent scene if they were playing on records.

Oh my gawd! You've got one of my cry songs on your list:

Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris

Others include:
White Cliffs of Dover (Vera Lynn)Little Ray of Sunshine (Glenn Shorrock)
You're Still the One (Shania Twain)

Actually, I could go on, but... this is getting embarrasing.

Yeah, 2 Little Boyz, and Little Ray of Sunshine are real tear jerkers.

Also, A Few of My Favourite Things, because of the ordeal those poor Von Trap chittlins are about to go through.

Further, I'm a sucker for The Band Played Waltzing Matilda.

Moreover, for some reason, Born to Be Alive by Patrick Hernandez - whose parents might as well've called him Catholic Hernandez.

And what's more, Dav Whatmore, the original C'mon Aussie C'mon by the marvellous Mojo Singers. "Lillee's pounding down like a machine" - so metronomic with an internal rhyme to boot. And 25 years on, we're still to see a bowler of his ilk. sob.
