Grumpy is a happy man. He has his Freo Dockers number plates. What with those and the new blue-grey sheepskin seat covers, I feel like I'm sailing perilously close to boganism.
But can bogans be choosers? I'm not so sure.
Originally we were going to go for our birth years on the plates. However, that would have meant driving around the streets of Perth with FD 6869 plastered on our car. I felt a little uncomfortable with the 69 aspect, and the rhythmic nature of the numbers. It all seemed a trifle lewd.
So now we've gone with our postcode, and I'm hoping that people will see it, think it's our birth years and say, "Gee, they look young for their age."

It is a sad, sad day for YAY OOU...sniff....
My mum used to have her licence plates with her initials, so it read like this:
VD 069
Yes, she knew perfectly well what she was doing.
